In spite of it all we carry on with our traditions. Mark arrived this morning by redeye from Seattle and Paris got in for a surprise visit from Syracuse University last night. Though not complete, the family will be together for our traditional Graf Easter Basket Hunt tomorrow.

Peter is doing amazingly well. His blood values are over the top.  On Wednesday we will be going to Dana Farber in Boston to inform ourselves about further treatment possibilities.

I baked a bunny family today for tomorrow's breakfast......here is the big Mama.

Sending you warmest good wishes on this holiday weekend!

Love the big mama and the tree. Hope your Easter was a peaceful family one. Looking forward to hearing what you learn from Dana Farber - a good place, I believe. Love, Joan and David

Holidays are always so memorable in the Graf home! And this year, we are so pleased that there is more to celebrate than just the holiday! It's lovely that Mark and Paris can be with you, along with everyone else. Very happy that Peter shows continuing improvement!

Dear Peter and Jutta,

Embarrassingly, I think I have tried six times to write on the blog, to send you my love. Six times it didn't work. I can't figure it out. Ugh.

But, no matter - I'm writing to you here to say how much I think about you both, and that I continue to send prayers and energy and love your way each day. I have missed getting the blog every day, and I'm thrilled that your life at home is so filled that you aren't writing it, if you understand what I'm saying. It is so absolutely wonderful that Mark is with you. A gift for you and a gift for him. He lives so incredibly far away. That must be terribly hard for him, as it has been for you all these years.

Your Easter Mama looked wonderfully pregnant, Jutta. A sign of life and hope, which this season is. Peter, your numbers being better and better - a sign of life and hope.

Hold each other tenderly for me. Your deep love and appreciation of each other is so beautiful - that, too, is a gift, for all of us.

With my love,

Vicki
